Under the direction of the UVU School Community University Partnership Director, the UVU PREP Program Coordinator organizes the UVU PREP program, prepares materials, recruits students, markets the program in public schools/community, conducts public relations events and hires program staff. The Program Coordinator is accountable for accurate reporting of the program objectives and outcomes to the SCUP Director and grant coordinators.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Bilingual in Spanish and English speaking preferred.
Knowledge, skill and ability with computer programs including Windows, Microsoft Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet, E-mail, and social media.
Knowledge in event planning and time management.
Knowledge in program evaluation and policy creation.
Knowledge of basic finance.
Knowledge in marketing basics.
Skills in public relations, ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, including writing a variety of data-driven reports.
Skills in working with small and large groups events.
Skills in conflict resolution.
Skills in interpersonal verbal and written communication.

Skills in proofreading/editing program materials.
