Coordinates activities in Transfer Credit and Articulation within the Graduation and Transfer Services department. Advises prospective and new transfer students, including international transfer students, regarding how their transfer work will apply toward their chosen major. Determines eligibility of standard transfer credit, including domestic and International transcripts with Faculty, Advisors, and/or department chairs.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of Transfer Credit best practices.
Knowledge of student advisement methods and techniques.
Knowledge of content and curriculum.
Skills in word processing, spreadsheets and Database software Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Skills in filing and records maintenance.
Skills in conflict resolution.
Ability to work with management level personnel.
Ability to independently multi-task and follow-through with tasks to completion.
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Ability to work with a diversity of personalities.
