*Saint Leo University is creating a pool of potential adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate education classes at our centers located in Lake City and Trenton, Florida.
Appointments are for immediate and upcoming terms.Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and are processed as priority upon the receipt of all official transcripts and other required documentation.
An adjunct instructor in the Education program(s) is a semester to semester appointment with responsibility to students, course material and classroom instruction.Instructors will be responsible for teaching undergraduate education courses. This includes the electronic recording of certain assessments to comply with Florida Department of Education accreditation requirements.
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is the minimum requirement for undergraduate programs. Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution is required for graduate programs.
Three or more years of successful K-12 teaching experience is required of all adjunct and full-time faculty who teach in the education programs
A Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in Education or a closely related field is the minimum requirement for undergraduate programs. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.

Documentation of a current teaching certificate is preferred, but an expired teaching certificate or other documentation of 3 years of K-12 teaching experience is acceptable.”
