American International College is seeking candidates for our Career Advisor position in our Career Development Center. Under the direction of the Director of Career Development, the individual will be responsible for the following:
Develop career plans for students
Develop and implement career development workshops
Work with faculty and staff in the development of classroom materials
Administer career assessments
Assist students with resume writing, interviewing skills
Assist the director in developing relationships with regional and national organizations
Schedule and provide support for on-campus interviews with employers
Maintain cooperative relationships with Alumni Affairs and the Development Office
Assist the director in planning and carrying out career and majors fairs.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field is required.
Master's Degree is preferred.
Two years' experience in a postsecondary education setting is desired
Excellent oral and written communication
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with the internet
