The University of La Verne College of Law invites qualified applicants for a two-semester visitorship to teach Torts-ILS in the Fall 2015 semester and Property-DVS in the Spring 2016 Semester. Other courses may be assigned according to the expertise and interest of the successful candidate. Normal teaching load is two course preparations per semester and may include teaching two sections for one of the preparations.
This position is a full-time two-semester appointment. A J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school is required, and preference will be given to candidates with full-time teaching experience in ABA-approved law schools.
Rank will be commensurate with experience. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
The College of Law is provisionally approved by the ABA and offers both full-time day and part-time evening programs. It is located in Ontario, California, about 40 miles east of Los Angeles.
