Academic Student Support Services

Develop Supplemental Instruction program. Interview, hire and train student coaches. Prepare materials and evaluate program participation. Collect and analyze data. Establish productive relationships with faculty, staff and students.

Basic Function:

Demonstrate proactive tendencies sharing and drawing upon best practices, Contribute constructively to process refinement. Assist the Director with overall management of the department and will fulfill the duties as prescribed by the Director in his/her absence.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to establish rapport with students, faculty, alumni, employers and staff colleagues.
  • Background in education, psychology or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of Supplemental Instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Experience in program development and Supplemental Instruction.
