Detailed Job Description

The Manager for Development Operations provides leadership in establishing and refining operating procedures, analysis, budget oversight, governance support, and organizational metrics in a manner that is consistent with best practices in the nonprofit industry  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required

Minimum of two-years' experience in budgeting, expense tracking, and budget analysis  

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the basic functions of roles on a fundraising team

Proficiency in computer systems, MS Office Software, Power Point and donor tracking system

Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures

Statistical literacy, strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with demonstrated writing skills, project management skills, and the ability to problem-solve

Ability to work effectively under pressure; excellent time and project management skills needed to handle multiple concurrent projects which are often associated with deadlines.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team-based environment

Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
