Detailed Job Description

The Assistant Director, Marketing and Digital Media is responsible for assisting in the implementation of strategic plans into the daily operation of the athletics marketing department.

Additional Department Summary:

The Assistant Director, Marketing, Promotions and Digital Media is responsible for assisting in the implementation of strategic plans into the daily operation of the athletics marketing department. The responsibilities include: generation of revenue through the creation and administration of marketing, promotional and digital media plans to sell tickets for football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball and gymnastics; increasing brand, event, and awareness of pertinent athletics information through marketing related channels. This position also develops and implements activities related to advertising and coordination of all events associated with the department.

Required Minimum Qualifications

B.S. in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports management, Graphic Design, or other related field with 2 years of experience within intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organization and or other marketing or related field, OR M.S. in Business, Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, Graphic Design or other related field. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Software products and other related software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working within an intercollegiate athletics department and/or professional sports organization in a marketing, tickets sales, development, public relations and/or communications role. Working knowledge and experience with marketing efforts within social media and email outlets. 58 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 37065.60 Midpoint - $ 53747.16
