Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar of Curriculum/Catalog, expedites and coordinates the processing of all curriculum changes through various UVU processes. Provides quality control for curriculum entered into the curriculum management tool. Trains UVU personnel in curriculum processing tools, policies, and procedures. Supervises the day-to-day work load of staff assigned by the Assistant Registrar to assist with curriculum. Assists in the development, testing, and maintenance of existing or new electronic systems related to curriculum or catalog.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate degree (Bachelor preferred) and 3 years of related experience OR any combination of post high school education and/or full-time paid experience related to the summary of duties totaling 5 year(s).
Requires knowledge of curriculum and program development; academic policies and processes; microcomputers and applicable word processing, database or spreadsheet software, and web utilization; office methods, procedures and equipment; knowledge of the methods and techniques of research, analysis, and report preparation; knowledge of Ellucian Banner Student (preferred) or other campus software.
Skilled in: writing, editing, and verbal communication; complex decision-making and problem solving; human relations; exercising professional, clear and effective communication (verbal and written); presenting to small and/or large groups; creating training materials; and training personnel.
Requires the ability to accurately perform detailed work for long periods with many interruptions under tight deadlines; ability to organize and process large quantities of curriculum materials; to interpret policies, regulations, and guidelines and stay current with changes; ability to handle complex decision-making and problem solving; and ability to supervise projects and personnel.
