Customer Service Coordinator position with Miami University concessions is a working position and will involve someone who is self motivated and possess excellent problem solving skills. This position is responsible for a set of events and venues on campus that concessions operates revolving around athletic events as well as special events on the Oxford Campus.


The Customer Service Coordinator oversees the setup and overall logistics of the set of events assigned to he or she ready for scheduled event days some of these duties include but are not limited to ordering of supplies from both internal and external vendors, check in of deliveries, and equipment work orders, oversees daily tasks to ensure operation is ultimately meeting expectations and working efficiently, must be involved with the lean process and looking for opportunities to cut cost, and others duties as assigned.

On event days the Customer Service Coordinator pickups and drops off banks and deposits, Supervises and is responsible for staffing charts for both student and volunteer staff, coordinates food production and must have a good sense of meeting production demands and timelines in fast paced environment, transportation of food, Setting up registers, ensuring all stands and staff have all necessary supplies and the materials before opening time, as well as oversee the overall flow of the event during operational time as well as the close down responsibilities including but not limited to running cashier reports, coordinating cleaning duties, organizing bank deposits.

On non event day the Customer Service Coordinator has several office duties that are also associated with this position including but not limited to entering and pulling sales data using several programs, student payroll, reports, ordering supplies, regulates student disciplinary procedures, assists is student and volunteer training, orders signage and marketing needs, monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures, continually monitors work areas ensuring they are clean, stocked and well organized, compiles inventory counts and inventory data entry.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires six months of coursework or training beyond high school in Business Administration and three years retail experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
