Job Description:

BHCC seeks a committed and energetic student affairs professional who desires to work in a dynamic environment as a team member with the Dean of Students as the coordinator of health services; Provide health care counseling to students; evaluate and treat minor injuries and illnesses; plan and implement educational health programs, seminars and workshops promoting healthy lifestyles; provide and coordinate various screening activities including tuberculosis testing to meet state requirements; provide health clearances for nursing and allied health students; evaluate and issue handicap parking permits; general activities related to clinic operations; respond with campus police to medical emergencies and major medical events; establish and implement Health Services policies and procedures in consultation with the Dean of Students; complete related reports; establish and maintain positive and effective communication and positive working relationships with students and college staff.


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree strongly preferred; with five (5) years' experience and/or training that includes clinical nursing, primary/emergency care, and public health program administration; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current licensure/or eligibility as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Recently re-certified as a Leader College by Achieving the Dream, BHCC is part of the Massachusetts public higher education system, which includes 15 community colleges. Founded in 1973, BHCC is the largest community college in Massachusetts, serving more than 14,000 students each semester across all modes of instruction. The College offers more than 100 certificate and degree programs that prepare students to enter four-year institutions or to enter the workforce prepared for better and more highly skilled jobs. Additional Information

Salary Range:  $57,330.00 - $62,212.00.  Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education & Experience In Accordance With MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full State Benefits.
