Full Time Faculty / Training Coordinator - M.A. Counseling with a Specialization in Sport & Health Psychology

Duties include teaching, coordinating sport & health externship training, advising and mentoring students, participation in institutional and departmental committees, admission efforts, advising/ mentoring students, as well as support of department and institutional initiatives. Candidates must be willing to align with the university’s mission and values which is training socially responsible practitioners, engaging communities, and advancing social justice.

Candidates are required to have a doctorate in psychology, counseling, sport psychology, or a closely related field. Candidates must be certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) and have experience mentoring applied sport psychology students. Preference will be given to those who are licensed with clinical experience, experience supervising clinical internship, and with expertise in teaching Sport Psychology courses. Candidates are also expected to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and professional staff.
