Detailed Job Description

Manages all curriculum activity relative to credit courses for the institution, including: hiring, training, and supervising full and part-time coordinators and assistants and maintaining all curriculum-related policies and procedures. This position coordinates and completes relevant production calendars and cycles for curriculum and Catalog within the Office of the Senior Registrar and producing the graduate and undergraduate catalogs for UVU.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year of experience in academic administration or a relevant combination of education and experience totaling five years.


Knowledge of curriculum and program development and academic policies

Knowledge of course scheduling and room scheduling strategies and techniques

Knowledge of microcomputers and applicable word processing, database or spreadsheet software, presentation software, page layout software, and Web utilization

Knowledge of Banner or other SIS software

Knowledge of office methods, procedures and equipment.

Knowledge of supervisory techniques.


Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

Office management and supervisory skills

Skills in developing training materials and training individuals


Ability to plan and organize production calendars and time tables

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through on projects to successful completion

Ability to organize and manage complex projects

Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and guidelines and remain current with changes

Ability to work professionally with diverse personnel and higher administration

Pay Range

$38,062 to $50,750 annually
