The Transcript Services Supervisor is a full-time professional position.  The Transcript Services Supervisor will plan, coordinate, and administer a comprehensive system of transcript evaluations for domestic and international students, including military, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB) credits. This position will be responsible for all services related for transcript requests including interaction with student and entities with transcript-related needs.  This position requires independent decision making within the constructs of policy, state, and accrediting body guidelines and best practices; exercising good judgment and tact; and establishing and maintaining strong customer service skills with staff, students, and the community. Additionally, the Transcript Services Supervisor will supervise the transcript evaluation process, oversee the receipt and sending of transcripts, determine transfer course work applicability and/or equivalency; train and supervise other staff performing these duties; work with student and Management Information System (MIS) staff to resolve all issues related to transcript orders to and from Pensacola State College; and provide assistance regarding student transcript evaluations.  This position reports to the College Registrar.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree; three years’ experience in a collegiate student services office setting; and experience evaluating student academic transcripts. Successful results of a criminal background check are required. 


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  At least four years of experience in collegiate student services; two years of experience with evaluating student academic transcripts; one year supervisory experience; exceptional professional and customer service skills; and ability to multi-task.


ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:  $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable.  However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)           


FRINGE BENEFITS:  The value of the benefits package provided by the college is nearly 38% of the base salary and includes major medical insurance, life insurance and Florida retirement contributions.  Supplemental life, dental, vision, and disability insurance are available at group rates.  Other benefits offered include tuition waivers, educational opportunities, and paid sick and annual leave.
