Detailed Job Description

Under the direction of the Head Men’s Ice Hockey Coach, the Assistant Men’s Ice Hockey Coach will assist with all aspects of a Division I men’s ice hockey program, including but not limited to, game and practice strategy as well as recruiting of new students.


  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the sport of ice hockey.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Playing experience at a high level.
  • Recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Must have exceptional leadership skills.
  • Valid, insurable driver's license is required, with ability to travel.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as the schedule dictates.
