Under the direction of the Executive Vice President for Administration (EVP), the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Administration and Finance will provide high-level administrative support in the areas of operations, event and schedule management, calendar maintenance, and insurance support. This individual will ensure accurate flow of information between offices and will interact regularly with a wide range of college employees.
Provide administrative, professional and confidential support for the Exec VP for Administration, VP for Finance, and AVP for Financial Planning
Manage the administrative functions of the Office of Administration and Finance including benefit data for direct reports of EVP and VP.
Coordinate calendars and meetings; send notifications of Trustee Committee & internal College meetings; record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes as assigned.
Prepare and distribute correspondence and other documents as requested.
Managing efficient electronic and hard copy files and office records.
Coordinate insurance administration for VP for Finance by providing information on claims, researching related information, processing applications, and assisting with annual renewals.
Assist with risk mitigation and obtain waivers and certificates of insurance.
Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.

High School diploma is required.
BS or BA is the preferred degree.
Previous experience supporting high level executives in a busy office environment.
Previous experience in higher education preferred.
Knowledge of executive office administration and process.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Takes initiative to ensure that the office operates with effectively and consistently.
Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Ability to gather data and compile information, and compose correspondence and other written materials effectively.
Ability to successfully problem-solve by finding out answers to questions and sorting out the important from the unimportant.
