Under the direction of the President, the Dean of Admissions is the College’s chief admission officer who provides the strategic direction and leadership for a results-oriented admissions program of considerable skill and innovation at both the graduate and undergraduate levels to ensure the institution achieves its enrollment goals in accordance with the mission, vision and core values of the institution. This position serves as the primary recruitment strategist of the College and will provide leadership in developing enrollment goals based on strategic analysis of market research, student success, program-specific and institutional capacity and resources. The Dean will monitor trends in the economy and in the increasingly competitive educational marketplace and work with colleagues to attract, enroll, and retain a highly accomplished and diverse student body committed to the values and mission of AIC. The Dean serves on the President's Cabinet and as staff to the Board of Trustees' Enrollment Management and Marketing Committee.
American International College is a private, coeducational institution of higher education located on a 70+ acre campus in Springfield, Massachusetts. The campus has 42 buildings on two sites approximately 1/2 mile apart with a total of approximately 660,000 gross square feet. Included in the inventory of buildings are student residences for a resident population of 900 students. Founded in 1885, the College has 3700 graduate and undergraduate students.
