Bentley University is seeking an Executive Assistant to the President. Bentley offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a great work environment.

The Executive Assistant to the President reports directly to the President of Bentley University. This position provides a high level of administrative support, managing the President's calendar and travel schedule, planning and coordinating meetings and events, and preparing the President for Board and other meetings. This person serves as the ambassador for the President's office and is the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies seeking access to the President. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior leadership team; and oversees special projects. This position is responsible for composing and preparing formal written communications, confidential correspondence and reports for internal and external audiences. The Executive Assistant ensures efficient day-to-day operations of the office.  

Additional Description of Duties:

Oversees the budget for the President's Office and the President's House.  

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 5-7 years of experience and a high level administrative/professional support role for an executive.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate functions and processes of the office. Skilled in promoting cooperative behavior and team efforts. Can effectively organize, assemble and arrange resources to meet goals. Ability to interact with diverse groups of people. Maintains personal composure in high stress situations, handling multiple demands and demonstrating flexibility in adapting to changing conditions. Understands need to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
