Assists with basic operational activities in the Athletics Department in an intern capacity. Researches compliance rules and guidelines within the applicable collegiate rules and regulations. Assists in the application of those regulations to specific circumstances.
Completion of two years of academic training at an accredited institution in an undergraduate program directly related to the summary of duties; relevant coursework to be determined by the hiring department.
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree and currently working towards a juris doctorate degree or master’s degree in Public Administration or Sports Administration.
Knowledge and interest in collegiate athletics.
Skilled in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher.
Skilled in interpersonal problem solving and decision-making.
Ability to manage and keep accurate records.
Ability to effectively communicate with administrators, coaches, staff and student both verbally and in-writing.
Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, adapt and work independently.
