Reporting directly to the Controller and working closely with the PCI Security Analyst the PCI Compliance Officer will play a key role in achieving and maintaining the University’s compliance with (PCI-DSS) Payment Card Industry Security Standards.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling at least seven years.
Knowledge of current trends and developments in the PCI-DSS and PCI PA-DSS. Knowledge of audit methodologies and security assessment tools. Knowledge and experience with information technology security issues and best practices. Understanding of information systems and networking diagrams. Working knowledge of Network Firewall, Web Application Firewalls, VPN’s, Security Information and event Management (SIEM).
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, can express thoughts clearly.
Ability to collaborate with others and work in a team environment as a team player.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to learn and implement new technology.
