Detailed Job Description

The Assistant Director for Conference services manages all operational aspects of the Bryant Conference Center, including physical facility, 15+ member staff, the marketing of the Center, the development of operational policies and procedures, and the development and management of non-credit programs. Serves as a catalyst to coordinate and supervise a diverse staff.

Additional Department Summary:

The Assistant Director for Conference Services ensures efficient delivery of conference services and an exemplary customer experience. The Assistant Director also recommends operations strategy to the Associate Dean after measuring and assessing finance and performance metrics of the customer experience. In addition to leading a team that delivers conference services, the Assistant Director acts as a liaison to supporting groups like the CCS marketing team and to stakeholders like UA faculty and staff. The Assistant Director partners with the Assistant Director of Facilities Management to integrate conference services operations with facilities operations.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience OR Master's degree and a minimum of two (2) years or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in hospitality and event management, business, or similar topics. Five years managing events. Three years managing budgets. 59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 42993.60 Midpoint - $ 62337.60
