The Assistant Director of Annual Giving will report directly to the Director of Annual Giving. Primary job responsibilities include: management of all direct mail and e-mail annual giving campaigns; implementation of crowd-funding campaigns, with related social media account management; management of a small portfolio of leadership level Annual Giving donors; and manage loyalty society efforts for students and alumni. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving; Donor Relations; Advancement Services; and Directors of Development.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and three years experience related to the Summary of Duties or a combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years.
Knowledge of direct Mail strategy.
Knowledge of E-mail marketing.
Knowledge of popular social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Good with people.
Detailed and organized.
Good communication skills.
Ability to find solutions to problems.
Ability to manage social media accounts.
Ability to Manage student employees.
