MIAMI UNIVERSITY’S Department of Management invites applicants for a tenure-track position in Supply Chain and Operations Management at the assistant professor level beginning fall Semester 2016.
This position will contribute to the central elements of the departmental and divisional mission by combining outstanding research with excellent teaching and service. Anticipated teaching responsibilities include teaching both introductory and/or upper-level undergraduate courses in the Supply Chain and Operations Management major consistent with candidate expertise and interests.
Doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or closely related field (completed by December 31, 2016 for appointment to a second year).

Screening of applicants will commence on November 1, 2015 and interviews will be conducted at the November 2015 Decision Sciences Institute Meeting. Phone interviews may also be held for candidates not attending the Decision Sciences meeting. Reference letters will be requested later.
Strong candidates will have completed PhD; accepted/published research in highly regarded journals or evidence of working papers or papers under review, as well as excellent teaching evaluations in the area of supply chain management or operations management.
