The permanent part-time President's Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the President's Executive Assistant  

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required with additional training in the administrative/secretarial field

Minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative/secretarial experience required  

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree preferred.

Intermediate knowledge and skills with computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,) required. Advanced knowledge preferred.

Experience in file system management.

Proven ability in various software applications related to use of database, accounting system, etc.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to multi-task, with minimal supervision and with attention to accuracy, details and deadlines.

Excellent customer service skills required.

High level, professional oral, written and interpersonal communications skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, editing and proofreading skills required.

Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize work flow

Proven ability to keep confidentiality.

Proven ability to deal effectively and tactfully with students, faculty, staff and the public
