The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver invites applications for the following appointed positions with an expected start date of fall 2013. BUSINESS ETHICS, Associate or Full Professor and Daniels Chair

The Daniels Chair in Business Ethics will teach, conduct research and lead collaborative efforts to incorporate ethical values and social responsibility into the business school curriculum andrepresent the College to the Daniels Fund and in the community. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as business, law, philosophy or social science, strong teaching and publication record in areas broadly related to business ethics and/or corporate social responsibility.

APPLIED ECONOMICS,Miller Family Chair



The Miller Family Chair will undertake a program of teaching and research as well as leading collaborative efforts to design an applied economics concentration. Applicants must have a doctorate in business, economics or a closely-related field; evidence of teaching excellence; and a proven record of high-quality scholarly productivity. The candidate needs experience commensurate with an Associate or Full Professor in Applied Economics. The successful candidate is expected to provide visible intellectual leadership and engagement with faculty, students and the larger community.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP, Associate or Full Professor in Management and Koch Chair

The successful candidate will engage in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship, research, and service activities. Applicants must have a PhD or DBA in management or other business-related disciplines; a strong publication record in areas broadly related to entrepreneurship; current publication record that demonstrates a well-established record in research; teaching and service as appropriate to the level of associate or full professor; experience as a tenured/tenure-track professor at an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution; and teaching experience in entrepreneurship and/or related areas.

BUSINESS INFORMATION AND ANALYTICS, Associate/Full Professor and Chair of the Department

The Chair will provide expertise, leadership, external contacts, fundraising abilities and a strategic focus to a department that educates students for analytics roles within the region and throughout the world. Applicants must have a PhD in information technology, management science, statistics, operations management or an equivalent field from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited school, current and well-established record in research, teaching and service as appropriate to the level of associate or full professor.

BUSINESS INFORMATION AND ANALYTICS, Assistant Professor

The Assistant Professor will teach and conduct research in one or more areas related to business intelligence and information analytics. Applicants must have a PhD in statistics, operations research, information technology, or related discipline, accompanied by demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching and publication. ABD will be considered.

MANAGEMENT, Assistant Professor

Seeking applications for Assistant Professor to teach and conduct research in strategic management, along with supporting interests in international management. Applicants must have a PhD or DBA in management or other business-related disciplines, accompanied by demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching and publication potential. ABD will be considered.

ACCOUNTANCY, Assistant or Associate Professor

This position will have research, teaching and service responsibilities. Applicants must have a PhD in accounting or a closely-related field, accompanied by demonstrated acceptable teaching and publication potential. Candidates for associate professor must have a record of excellent teaching, high quality publications and experience commensurate with an Associate Professor in Accountancy. ABD will be considered for the assistant rank.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT, Assistant or Associate Professor

Applicants for the Assistant Professor position must have a PhD in hospitality management or a business discipline, accompanied by demonstrated potential for high quality teaching and publication. ABD will be considered. Applicants for the Associate Professor must hold an earned doctoral degree in hospitality or a business discipline, accompanied by an outstanding record of teaching, scholarship, and service.
