Detailed Job Description

Under the general direction of the campus administrator, the position functions as a full extension of the administrator position. Participates in long and short term planning, budget, curriculum development, program operation, testing center operations, library, academic advising, marketing, IT support, supervision of student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling at least seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Masters degree and one year of experience related to the prescribed duties.

Knowledge

Knowledge of office methods, techniques, budget operations. Knowledge of remote campus operations to include liaison with main campus elements and close coordination with academic departments.

Skills

Microsoft Office Suite. Use of spreadsheets. Skill in programming local website and face book page. Support faculty with media needs.

Abilities

Communicate both verbally and in writing. Compose and create media information to facilitate marketing. Independently solve moderate and complex problems. Ability to multitask, set priorities, follow through on work projects to completion.

Pay Range

$36,319 to $48,425

-Adjunct faculty status for at least two full semesters immediately prior to the position’s opening date, OR

-Non-Student Part-time hourly employee hired through the official University screening process, or informal hiring process employed a minimum of 6 consecutive months, working at least an average of 20 hours per week, immediately prior to the position’s opening date, OR

-Salaried employee employed a minimum of 6 consecutive months, working at least an average of 30 hours per week, immediately prior to the position’s opening date.
