In this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for managing the set-up, service, presentation, and all other aspects of catering event planning and production, ensuring events are timely and that quality standards are met. The Catering Manager is also responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, coordinating and supervising wait staff, caterers, and bartenders to ensure the highest quality of service. With an awareness of emerging trends, implement, educate and transform ideas/methods to advance and promote RISD Catering and to assure that Catering is competitive and meets financial goals. The role is responsible for regularly seeking customer feedback to gauge success and challenges; and then make recommendations to Chef de Cuisine based on feedback and implement as approved.
