The Public Safety Lieutenant, Support Services works very closely with a variety of campus offices, such as the Dean of Students Affairs, the Office of Residence Life, and Facilities + EHS and assists the Director/Chief in administering safety and security operations including emergency management and instigations in an effective and sensitive manner. The incumbent is responsible for conducting investigations and follow-up on all incident reports received by the Department of Public Safety. Must have a strong working knowledge of and sensitivity to Title IX incidents and serve as the point of contact for these investigations. Assist in the management of Jeanne Clery compliance program for the College. Develop and implement all relevant safety educational programs for students, faculty and staff. Hire, train, develop, evaluate and supervise public safety support service staff, including facility monitors, dispatchers, and ARMS coordinator (s).
