Responsible for the day-to-day management of the UCCU Center business and financial affairs.
Involved with event settlements, deposits, recording payments, merchandise sales for concerts, general departmental procurement, event scheduling, and departmental journal entries.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field plus two years of related experience OR a relevant combination of education and work experience totaling six years.
CPA License Preferred
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Knowledge of governmental accounting.
Strong analytical and technical accounting skills. Experience with accounting software and all Microsoft Office applications is required. Oracle experience would be helpful. Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and have the ability to perform technical accounting tasks and functions.
Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & communication skills. Ability to make sound business judgments in resolving generally understood and/or more complex issues. Ability to develop relationships with diverse groups and various levels of financial and operating personnel.
