Detailed Job Description

Pending final budget approval, we anticipate a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor position to teach courses in sociology. 


Teach courses in sociology (introduction to sociology with a global perspective, stratification, and/or research methods). 

Minimum Qualifications

ABD (for appointment as instructor); PhD by date of appointment (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) in sociology or related field. 

Preferred Qualifications

Desire: experience in teaching and conducting research in sociology.
