• Plan, develop and implement transition education and experiences during the academic year
• Develop Individualized Education Programs to promote students’ access and participation in meaningful transition education and related experiences
• Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate students’ progress
• Confer with critical stakeholders including student, teachers, parents/guardians and Local Education Agencies (LEA) and UA program administrators to review and resolve students’ behavioral and/or academic problems
• Participate in monitoring teacher assistants to ensure that they fulfill their role as required by LEA and UA
• Collaborate with CPP colleagues and LEA and UA program administrators in revising and improving CPP
• Maintain accurate and complete student records and prepare pertinent reports as required by Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), district policies, and UA administrative regulations.

Position: Clinical Instructor (Non-Tenure Track)

This position is for a nine-month academic year, non-tenure earning clinical instructor in the CrossingPoints Program (CPP) in the Department of Special Education and Multiple Abilities. This position will be renewed annually based on performance and funding.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Earned Masters degree in Severe Disabilities Education or related field
• Experience in and ability to teach transition-age students with significant disabilities in a model transition program
• Knowledge of curriculum requirements and trends in the discipline
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
• Commitment to diversity and excellence in transition education of youth (ages, 18-21 years) with significant disabilities

Preferred Qualifications:
• One or more years of successful teaching experience in transition education and programming
• Professional certification in P-12 Severe Multiple Disabilities

Responsibilities:
