Assist management with the department’s training, organizational development and employment services programs. Duties include: tracking, scheduling, coordinating, preparing materials and perform a variety of comprehensive/confidential administrative support to the department.
Requires graduation from a standard senior high school, or the equivalent, AND any combination of post high school education and/or full-time paid experience related to the qualifications totaling 3 years.
Knowledge of and experience with office products, methods and computer equipment/programs; proven organizational skills; proficient in the use of MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Knowledge of general accounting principles.
Skilled in the maintenance of employment records.
Skilled with database management.
Skilled in Organizing and coordinating multiple projects and assignments.
Ability to work efficiently with complex and confidential information.
Ability to meet deadlines under general supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to follow oral and written procedures and instructions.
Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate audio and video equipment.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
