Job Description: The Assistant Director of Employer Relations, reports to the Director of Career Services, and serves to develop and strengthen employer relationships with the goal of increasing internship and employment opportunities for USD students and alumni. In collaboration with Director of Career Services, develops and implements a strategic employer engagement strategy to cultivate new employer relationships and expand existing employer partnerships.The Assistant Director will collaborate with Career Services staff to provide students with the opportunity to connect with employers and alumni via various networking events, career fairs, employer visits, and workshops.The Assistant Director is responsible for Employer Relations budget and statistics related to overall employer and alumni engagement.This position works under the general supervision of the Director of Career Services. This position exercises supervision over the Employer Relations Coordinator and Internship Coordinator

Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of experience in sales/business development, recruiting or human resources.Master's degree strongly preferred.
Professional demeanor and demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships.

Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Team player, able to work effectively with others. Demonstrated ability to interact with students, employers, administrators, faculty, and other constituents.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement projects with complex logistics involving multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule and willingness to work occasional nights and weekends. Ability to travel.
Experience in higher education career services environment is preferred.
Proven experience with Symplicity or similar CSM software.
