As a vanguard to the UVU brand, shapes and helps manage the university branding and positioning strategies. Ensures and facilitates brand integration and compliance across all media platforms and across campus departments and entities. Conceptualizes, produces, and manages advertising and marketing campaigns.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of two years of directly related experience OR any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling six years.
Strong knowledge of branding principles, integrated marketing concepts and practices; knowledge of and experience in working with digital and traditional media buying and coordination; knowledge of analytics and measurement of digital advertising and reporting; knowledge of brand positioning, integration, execution, enforcement and application; knowledge of and experience in creative advertising and campaign development, conceptually, visually and textually.
Skills and experience in promotional copywriting for a variety of formats, including but not limited to promotional publications, brochures, web, print, digital, transit and outdoor advertising; basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design skills; fluency in presentation computer applications, including Microsoft Powerpoint; excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively about integrated marketing concepts and ideas; creative abilities in advertising campaign creation, development and execution; ability to manage and lead marketing and communication professional from across campus; ability to build rapport and lead collaborative projects across internal departments, divisions and among external constituents.
