The Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama invites applications for two tenure-track positions in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level (hiring at the associate professor level will be considered as appropriate) effective August 16, 2016.
Minimum qualifications: Candidates should have an earned doctorate (or expect to complete their doctorate before August 16, 2016) in Marketing or a related field.
Preferred qualifications: Candidates should exhibit the capacity and motivation to (1) conduct research publishable in top-tier marketing journals, (2) work with doctoral students and existing faculty, (3) excel in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and (4) engage in appropriate service activities. The Marketing Department has an emphasis in B2B across a number of verticals including sales, supply chain, and strategy. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in one or more of those or related areas.

The Marketing Department at steady state consists of 22 full-time faculty (15 tenure-track and 7 clinical faculty).
