Detailed Job Description

Works in conjunction with a Software Engineer Lead to maintain and revise existing systems. Provides technical assistance to users as well as to others in IT.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field plus three years of experience related to the essential functions/duties of the position OR any combination of higher education and experience directly related to the essential functions/duties totaling seven years.


Extensive experience with relational database concepts including SQL, stored procedures, prepared statements.
Experience with Object Oriented design and programming.
Experience with Web standards and protocols, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and HTTP.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.
Knowledge of project management.


Skill in SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, Toad, PHP, IntelliJ IDEA, jQuery, javascript, Java, project management, Groovy/Grails, version control systems.
Skill in effective interpersonal communication.
Effective decision-making skills where a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Skill in developing modular programming steps.


Ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
Ability to resolve problems by thinking logically.
Ability to identify and prioritize tasks.
Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
Ability to keep current with industry standards and trends by attending training and conferences; reading technical material; and corresponding with other professionals through the use of list serves, networks, and bulletin boards.
Ability to complete project deliverables by the given deadline and within the established department standards and guidelines.

Pay Range

$52,848 to $70,463 annually
