Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor in Health Promotion. The starting date of the position is August 17, 2015.
Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in personal health and wellbeing, women's health, health promotion program planning, understanding drugs as a health promotion professional, behavioral approaches to health promotion and education, and/or health promotion foundations; participate in curriculum development and program evaluation; advise undergraduate and graduate students and provide service to the department, division, and university.
Earned doctorate in health, public health, health education or related degree to be appointed as a Visiting Assistant Professor; earned master’s in health, public health, health education or related degree to be appointed as an Instructor; evidence of high quality teaching; knowledge of and experience in working with multicultural populations.
Working knowledge of Certified Health Education Specialist principles; skills that incorporate technology in teaching and teaching on-line.
