Detailed Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Employment Services in Human Resources, responsible to facilitate University efforts that maintain and enhance ongoing employee learning and development. Provides consultation, analysis, facilitation, research and project management in all areas related to the employee learning, training and development of University employees. Designs, implements and leads organization-wide learning and development initiatives. Implements and manages the University’s Learning Management System (LMS). Develops, implements, and conducts a variety of trainings for University employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling at least seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling at least seven years.

Preference given for experience in Instructional Design.

Knowledge

-Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional methodologies
-Knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies
-Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

-Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to present information to individuals or groups
-Ability to explain, question, actively listen, and facilitate the learning of others
-Ability to speak clearly so others will understand

Pay Range

$43,811 - $58,414
