Utilizes pedagogically sound principles to assist faculty with the integration of technology into instruction to enhance teaching and learning. This position works in collaboration with other academic support professionals to provide instructional technology evaluation, faculty support, and documentation to enhance teaching and learning. This position provides consultations with faculty and others in academic areas.

Additional Department Summary:

The Digital Production Services Specialist assists the Coordinator of Digital Production Services with the promotion of the overall positive image of faculty, staff and students at The University of Alabama. This position assists the Multimedia Services department by shooting and editing still and video content for campus customers and assisting with the management of digital assets. Other duties include creating and assisting in the production of special multimedia projects for internal and external clients. This position will also work closely with faculty in the production of multimedia projects for use in educational and web courses and promotional materials for University departments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree and three (3) years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience, OR Master's degree; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, education and/or certification from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been obtained. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered.Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Skills and Knowledge:

Shooting and editing still and video content for news and special project videos. Maintain videography and editing equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years full-time multimedia experience or a completed production school certificate preferred. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
