Maryville University is accepting applications for a Program Director of the Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Science and Disorders programs. This is a tenure-track faculty position beginning Summer 2015. The selected candidate will have the ability to teach a broad range of graduate and undergraduate courses in these fields as well as craft the strategic direction of both programs and the program’s SLP clinic.
Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or related field, from a regionally accredited institution
Current Missouri License, or eligibility to obtain license, as Speech-Language Pathologist
Current ASHA certification with CCC-SLP credential
5 years clinical experience
5 years teaching experience directly related to Speech-Language Pathology in higher education setting
3 years administrative experience
Experience directing Speech-Language Pathology and/or Communications Science Disorders programs
Detailed knowledge of ASHA accreditation process
Experience supervising, mentoring, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and students in both academic and clinical settings
