Under the direction of the Dean and the Chair of the Department of Information Systems/Technology, the Lecturer will teach administrative information management and computer proficiency courses as deemed appropriate, and provide service to the department and uphold professional and ethical standards.
Graduation from an accredited institution with terminal, earned degree appropriate to discipline. ABD accepted. Knowledge and skill in current instructional theories, strategies, techniques, and discipline content. See preferred qualifications for discipline or program-specific minimum qualifications.
Graduation from an accredited college with a Master’s degree in Information Management, Business Education, Professional and Technological Education, or a related discipline and 2 academic years teaching at the post-secondary education level.

Interpersonal and written communication skills

Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Publisher (preferred; not required)
Plan measurable objectives, prepare instructional materials, and follow an approved course for study for each course taught
Grade student work; maintain and submit accurate and current plans, reports, and records involving student accountability, attendance, performance, and follow-up
Work well with and assist academic advisors, the department chairperson, and/or the program coordinator, faculty, and department staff in maintaining an effective program
