Clinical Faculty Supervisors - Psychologists

Position: Reporting to senior leadership in community partner organizations and in close consultation with the Adler University Vancouver Campus Director of Training, the Clinical Faculty Supervisors (Psychologists) will play a key role in supporting the development of psychological training and service delivery to support community agency programs and clientele. 

Work schedule and location: With an anticipated start date of September 1, 2015, these are part-time contract positions ranging in time commitment, ideal for practitioners looking to supplement their existing practices.  Sites are located in Vancouver and Coquitlam.



Preference will be given to Psychologists who can demonstrate competence to supervise doctoral trainees in one of the following three areas:

  • Culturally sensitive psychological treatment for immigrants and refugees (Vancouver)
  • Evidence based psychological treatment of anxiety and mood disorders (Vancouver)
  • Psychological assessment and treatment for First Nations youth and adults (Coquitlam)

Additional Requirements:

  • A doctoral-level degree in professional psychology from a recognized program accredited by CPA, APA, or      equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (registration at time of starting position will be a contract requirement).
  • Supervisory experience and knowledge of trainee development is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and a high degree of professionalism
