Performs a variety of clerical and administrative services related to overseeing the operations of the photography unit that s part of University Communications and Marketing.
This position will be responsible for making updates to photo webpage.
Photography assignments as needed on main campus as well as regionals.
Assist in transition from one digital asset management database to a new database and the development of documentation of the new system and training materials.
Assist in documentation of new workflow for students returning in the fall.
Physical effort usually requires considerable walking and standing, and may require some lifting of materials weighing 25 to 50 pounds. Periodic assignments given which entail dealing with unpleasant physical situations.
Days and times may vary according to photography shoot requests. May require some long days and evening or weekend hours
Requires high school diploma or equivalent combination of photography education and photography experience.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Knowledge of digital asset management systems.
Demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of computer and office applications; supervisory skills.
Prefer prior experience with Miami photography or photography experience within a university environment.
Candidates should be prepared to share photography portfolio.
