Detailed Job Description

Manage day-to-day operation of the office. Perform difficult and confidential secretarial duties, including composing routine correspondence, record management, obtaining factual information requiring a knowledge of policies and/or procedures of both assigned and work related areas.
Inform students, faculty, and public of departmental and college services available; handle incoming calls & walk-in traffic; provide correct and accurate information to inquiries and requests for assistance.
Coordinate department financial activities including timecard
and new hire paperwork completion & submission, requisition, purchase order, travel, etc. processing.
Maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies; handle
other office duties as needed which may include supervision of office support.  

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor degree; OR an Associate degree and two years of experience related to the summary of duties; OR any combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling four years.

5) Ability to communicate effectively.
6) Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications.
7) Skill in office methods, techniques, practices, and procedures.
8) Possess effective interpersonal problem-solving, decision-making and public relations skills.
