Grade exams within appropriate timeframes
The Program in Environmental Sciences & Studies invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach two sections of the introductory & general education course, Principles of Environmental Science (ENV200). This position is location bound. Our part time instructor is required to work from Stonehill College. THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE COURSE. The courses meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8:30-9:45 and 10:00-11:15. Although ENV200 does not have a separate lab, faculty are required to incorporate lab/field activities along with lecture. These classes begin on Thursday September 3rd and final exams end December 19th, 2015. (In the spring semester 2016, the program also needs an adjunct to teach two sections of this course; class schedule to be determined in consultation with whomever will teach it.)
A Master’s in Environmental Science or related field is required, PhD preferred, and experience teaching at the undergraduate level is strongly preferred.
Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Application documents will include: letter of application (cover letter), curriculum vitae/resume via this Stonehill Jobs website only. Three recommendation letters are also required and the applicant will be prompted at the conclusion of the application process to provide the necessary contact information for each letter provider. The letter provider will then be sent a link for which they will submit their confidential letter of recommendation. Please email inquiries regarding this position to Prof. Susan Mooney,
