The Coordinator for Athletic Academic Programs is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive set of academic tutorial services.

Additional Department Summary:

The Coordinator for Athletic Academic Programs oversees a comprehensive set of academic tutorial services including individual tutoring, group tutoring, test reviews, and study skills workshops, which support student learning and success among athletes. This position supervises and trains a staff of 50 + Athletic Tutors.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience; OR Master's degree in a related field and some relevant experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Required to work some evenings and weekends.

Skills and Knowledge:

Requires basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers and standard software applications. Effective written and verbal communication to include public speaking skills. Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act, Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human resource management, education, behavioral science, counseling, or other related field. Working in a university or college setting preferably within an athletic academic support service program, interviewing, hiring, training. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Experience with student information system, i.e. BANNER, SIS. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 31969.56 Midpoint - $ 46342.44
