The Director, Communications & Programs (Undergraduate Admission) provides direction and leadership to the Undergraduate Admission office for planning, managing and executing strategic departmental and institutional goals. This person is responsible for the successful development and execution of all students, guidance counselor and parent communication, and all admission events and programs. This position supervises members of the Admission staff and provides leadership and guidance to the entire Admission team in direct support to the Executive Director.  

Additional Description of Duties:

Manage the program and communication budget, analyze recruitment opportunities and activities, and conduct research.

Engage in strategic planning, program development and execution, and the recruitment of prospective students to Bentley University. Provide input, manage and implement a strategic plan for the annual recruitment of international, domestic and transfer students to Bentley University.

As a senior manager on the Bentley campus, the director collaborates with other offices on the campus to achieve excellence in customer service delivery systems throughout the enrollment process.

Support the event and communication needs of the Director of Admission and Director of International and Transfer Admission and their teams Lead the development and implementation of all undergraduate communication in close collaboration with Bentley Marketing & Communications.  

Position Qualifications

MA/MS degree or the equivalent combination of training and experience plus 10+ years of related experience in an Admissions office. Demonstrated organizational, managerial, leadership and communication skills. Commitment to working with staff and students with diverse backgrounds. An understanding of enrollment management issues at a national and international level. Proven commitment to technological advancement in approach to work and staff development. Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints and pressure.  

License(s) Required for the Position

Must hold and maintain a valid, unrestricted United States driver's license, with an insurable driving history as determined by Bentley's insurance carrier.
