Frostburg State University, Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, seeks applications for a contractual full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position as Lecturer of Spanish to begin Fall 2015. Salarycommensurate with experience. 

Responsibilities: Teach four undergraduate courses per semester. Contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum. Perform departmental service. 

Minimum Qualifications: ABD in Spanish with a specialization in Linguistics, Literature, Cultural Studies, Education, or closely related field. Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish and experience or interest in designing and delivering interdisciplinary courses. 

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. and previous university-level teaching experience. Ability to teach Spanish courses from introductory to advanced levels. Familiarity with current methodologies to teach foreign languages. Competence with the use of multimedia technology. Interest in working with student groups and activities is a plus.
