Detailed Job Description

The Department of Business Administration seeks candidates for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Organizational Behavior/Management to begin in Fall 2016. This person would join a department of 19 full-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses.
• Supervise Business majors
• Advise students, present to them complex material, and monitor their progress, and performance.
• Write clearly, and make compelling oral presentations.
• Maintain an appropriate research agenda.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited school, and will have a strong interest in teaching and scholarship.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred areas of undergraduate teaching include Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Policy & Strategy. Other courses or areas of research interest can include International/Global Management, Negotiations & Collective Bargaining. An established record of teaching excellence is preferred.
