Full-time, benefited position. $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
Qualifications: Masters degree, plus 5 years in higher education or closely related field. Experience with maintaining and using Banner records system for the management of all student records, academic schedules and registration processes. Demonstrated knowledge of records laws and policies such as FERPA and MA public records laws. Excellent computer and technology skills required. Experience with DegreeWorks, understanding of the SEVIS system and well developed interpersonal skills and customer service orientation highly preferred.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the administration of the College's student record system (Banner) including the maintenance of student and academic records. Maintains the student and faculty Banner self-service web pages using WebTailor. Implements and maintains the DegreeWorks product for use in student educational planning. Creates the course schedule for electronic and print publication in coordination with academic personnel. Maximizes course enrollments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness between all campuses. Assigns classrooms and final exam schedule. Works with Marketing department to update and edit the college catalog and other key publications. Works with all necessary departments to ensure consistent data entry, record maintenance and disclosure procedures. Works closely with the Institutional Research and Information Technology departments developing college wide reports and exception reports to aid in analyzing student attendance and enrollment patterns. Works with staff to ensure compliance with administrative requirements regarding the provision of certification for Veterans Benefits and DET training programs, including the maintenance and updating of information on college education and training programs. Works with staff to provide a high level of customer service to students. Certifies eligibility for graduation and maintains student records in accordance with all applicable laws and requirements.
